Science Week Play and Explore at Hurstville Library

Join us as we celebrate National Science Week 2026 with a series of workshops and activities at Hurstville Library. This year’s theme, Seeds of Science , promises to captivate budding scientists and curious minds of all ages.

In our workshops, you will grow your mind and explore the wonders of life on earth with our living lineup of activities; learn how the oldest gardens were cultivated for their healing properties, snuggle in for Storytime Science, immerse yourself in the world of sensational succulents, paint a virtual gardenscape, design a pot to be 3D printed, or scavenge the library for seeds. There will also be tabletop discoveries, interactive installations, and plenty of opportunities to play and explore.
