Stop-motion animation workshop: Years 5-6

Join award-winning animators and film makers, Jelena Sinik, Nicolette Axiak, and Carl Stewart as they guide participants step-by-step through learning the animation fundamentals, worldbuilding and designing characters. Take home your own animation, bringing ordinary objects to life and making them do the impossible with the magic of stop-motion.

This workshop will cover: Using Stop Motion software Animation principles Storytelling Fine Motor Skills Creative play BYO tablet or phone if you are able. Download the free ‘Stop Motion Studio’ app prior to the event.

This inclusive activity is open for students in years 5 & 6 . Please contact our Muswellbrook Branch if you would like to discuss any supports for your family prior to attending. All children under the age of 13 must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times.
