Ellie Cole is an Australian Paralympian and retired swimmer, born in Melbourne. After losing her right leg to cancer as a child, she took up swimming as part of her rehabilitation and went on to become Australia’s most decorated female Paralympian, winning 17 medals across four Paralympic Games. She is also known for her advocacy for disability inclusion and her work as a speaker and commentator.
