Sustainable Futures Day

About this event

Wahroonga Park will come alive for our annual Sustainable Futures Day! Bring friends and family for a FREE, fun day out showcasing healthy, sustainable and low-cost lifestyles.

Visit and go in the draw for one of two $500 vouchers towards your sustainable lifestyle. Just complete our Sustainable Passport on the day. Read the Passport terms and conditions.

Primary school kids are invited to attend and build a mini solar car, using car kits provided and then race them against each other. Supervision provided but carers are welcome to assist.

Our rangers from the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden will hold x3 30min sessions through the day where kids and families can experience some of our native wildlife in a safe, educational way. Animals confirmed on the day but may include a blue-tongue lizard, turtle, stick insects and small, non-venomous snake.

Our Net Zero Champion volunteers and local community groups are hosting our stalls on the day. You can even volunteer yourself no experience required! More info here.
