Teddy Bear Storytime - Parramatta Library

Teddy Bear Storytime is a monthly early literacy and creative play program delivered by The Salvation Army for participating library branches. Each session features a facilitated Storytime where a teddy bear–themed book is read aloud to children in a fun, engaging, and interactive way. Following the story, children take part in a hands‑on craft activity that directly connects to the book and theme, encouraging imagination, creativity, and fine motor skill development.

Designed to be age‑appropriate and welcoming, Teddy Bear Storytime supports early language development, listening skills, and a love of reading, while also providing opportunities for social interaction and creative expression. This program offers a warm, playful environment for children and families to enjoy stories together and engage in meaningful learning through play.
