Teens Tessellating Patterns Workshop with Jacqueline Curry

In this fun, hands-on workshop, you'll learn the tricks M.C. Escher used to make his famous creations. Discover how to create interlocking, repeating patterns and master the mind-bending art of tessellations. Tesselation is an amazing mix of art and logic. We’ll look at real-world examples, from the geometric shapes of the Ottoman Empire to modern clothing patterns, and then dive deep into the interlocking puzzle pieces made famous by artist M.C. Escher. If your teen is coming and going independently, please complete the waiver giving permission for them to leave at the end of the class. Please note: Students are required to remain on-site during their lunch and morning tea breaks
