TERM 3: Junior Artist Studio

Join us for this fun series of introductory art workshops for kids. Each week you will explore a new artist or technique and engage in fun artmaking activities with an artist educator from the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery.

Each session begins with a short warm-up artistic exercise, followed by close looking at an artwork/artist and artmaking inspired by what you see.

The program runs for 8 weeks and all materials are supplied. Junior Artist Studio is recommended for ages 7-14. An adult must remain within the Gallery space if participants are under the age of 10.

If you are a homeschooling family, you might also like to consider Homeschool Artist Studio, which runs Wednesdays from 10:30am-12:30pm.
