Calling all young writers! Celebrating 34 years of exemplary writing at Subiaco, the WA Young Writers award continues to foster and celebrate young writers.

Join WA author Renae Hayward for a writing workshop focusing on the elements of story writing. Discover the elements of plot, character, story endings and how to make your words sparkle.

About the Author

Renae Hayward was born duing a cyclone in WA's pilbara region, but grew up by the beaches of Perth's northern suburbs. She has authored five books for children and was the inaugural recipient of the Ray Koppe Young Writers Residency. When she's not writing, Renae is a passionate advocate for early literacy.
