Youth School Holidays | Comics Workshop with Fionn McCabe (Ages 12-17)

Join us for an autobiographical comics workshop for ages 12-17!

People are insane! Everyone is a tangle of strange thoughts, odd habits, contradictions and unexpected reactions. All of which makes great content for comics! In this workshop, you will learn to quickly design interesting characters, sift through your lived experiences for surprising moments, and utilise both to create a short, compelling autobiographical comic.

The workshop will be facilitated by comics maker and educator, Fionn McCabe. Fionn is an award-winning cartoonist and is one of a handful of tertiary comics educators in Australia. He also teaches in the Design and Animation degrees at the University of Technology, Sydney.

This event is for teenagers aged 12-17 only. Participants who are not within this age range will not be permitted into the event.
